Types of Bankruptcies
Bankruptcies which are popular among the public consists of 2 types. They can generally be described as Chapter 7: liquidation and Chapter 13: reorganization. In a Chapter 7 bankruptcy case, you ask the bankruptcy court to wipe out (also known as discharge) the debts that you owe.
